There are 5 different boards, each with matching sets of pictures, names, group names, descriptions. Playing: Children attempt to match each animal with a picture card; then a name card; use the additional sets of cards to match each animal with its group; and then guess which animal it is when reading the description card. Children can check their answers - answer sheet for each bingo board included. Goldilocks and the Three Bears / DT / Food / Yummy Porridge! This unit can be used alongside the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. It provides opportunities for the children to use food technology to create a healthy food product suitable for a character and link it to their storytelling. Planning included! Children investigate the characteristics and properties of different varieties of ingredients to add different flavours to a basic dish – porridge – compare 5 recipes and develop vocabulary to describe the appearance, taste, smell and texture.
